We have a new kids group on a Thursday night called KCU for children between 8-11yrs (term time). On the first Thursday of the month the families can come and have food together too. Lots of activities and time to play. Contact [email protected] for more info. We also have a kids group called KCU which runs during the term time. It's for kids that are 8-11yrs old. It's free and we provide a hot meal free of charge too! They play on the inflatable, in the sports hall and learn about Jesus. Youth - We have a weekly youth group every Thursday from 6:30pm - 8:30pm - this group is free and there is free hot food provided every week. This group normally continues over the holidays. 18-30s:

On the last Sunday of the month we have a group called 'Rooted' that meets at church for food, worship, Bible study and connection. It starts at 6:30pm - please contact [email protected] for more info. We are looking into starting a 'Young adults' church meeting in September ... watch this space!

Local outreach & community activities:

We have a Disco for adults with additional needs and their carers. We have a group called Diamonds for parents of children with additional needs. We have a baby group every Wednesday morning here at the NSC Arena too. We have a social action arm under the umbrella 'PACE' which is a charity in it's own right (www.paceuk.org.uk). PACE's activities are also based here, they include - family activities like 'Big Bounce', food bank and community store, Kids Summer camp, BACP registered Counselling and Seniors group that runs at the centre every Tuesday morning.

Other activities & ministries:

We have a number of local connection groups - Life groups and small groups that meet together in peoples homes. The Bible studies range from in house discipleship materials to bought in books... we are looking forward to getting our teeth stuck into Andrew Ollertons book on Romans in the summer term (just to give you an idea). We have a leadership programme running throughout the year called LAMP (leadership and ministry pathway) - this is designed to help people with their personal discipleship, develop leadership potential and inspire faith for church planting. We have a deaf ministry and are about to start a BSL course for beginners. We have fantastic men and womens activities happening throughout the year. The men go for breakfast, play pool, walks, have take out evenings and the ladies have a monthly walking group. These are simply opportunities to grow in relationship and build friendships.
