About Us
The Belfrey is a friendly Anglican Church in the heart of the ancient city of York, with a congregation of approximately 800 with youth and children's work for another 70. Our vision is to Serve God's Transformation of the North. We are evangelical and charismatic, with Sunday services held each week at 9.00am, 11.00 am, and 6.00pm. We enjoy contemporary worship and a variety of styles of teaching from the word of God. We place strong emphasis on groups where we like to see strong relationships built. We have a varied programme of social and outreach ministries and events.
