About Us

A warm welcome to St. Marks Wyke, the Parish Church for Normandy within the Diocese of Guildford in the Church of England. Our church lies at the corner of Westwood Lane and Guildford Road and is open daily. It is often used as a place for stillness, prayer and rest. For young visitors we have a childrens church trail. We are a growing church community from a variety of backgrounds and ages, bringing different skills and experiences. We seek to be welcoming, faithful and inclusive. Throughout the year we have christenings (baptisms), weddings and funerals and we welcome enquiries, for more details please contact the Vicar. We strive to nurture faith in a variety of ways and engage fully with life in the community and the needs of the world beyond. Our Sunday services are a mix of formal and informal worship, and during the week there are a number of daytime and evening groups that meet on a regular basis. Our buildings are wheelchair accessible, both the church and hall have the Loop System for hearing aid users, and we have large print versions of services and hymns. Our hall is available to hire. We really look forward to welcoming you.
