About Us
St Matthew's is an evangelical charismatic Anglican Church located in the heart of Worthing. Some of us live very locally, others come from across the town. We have a good number of different nationalities and a spread of ages including children and young people. We will welcome you warmly whilst respecting your space. We believe God values every single person. You matter to him and he gives each of us a real purpose. We may find it amongst our friends, family, at work or in the community. Each month we host a gathering for those who have joined us recently, so we can get to know one another and so you can find out more of what were all about. We have two main services both with contemporary band led music. At 9.30 we include some liturgy whilst 11.15 is less structured and targeted more to families and younger people. Both services include a relevant talk applying the bible's teaching to today and response time with prayer ministers available to pray with you. Our youth and children's programme runs alongside the 11.15. Coffee is at 10.35 so 11.15 congregation arrive to share this with the 9.30 congregation.
