About Us

St John's Church is the Spiritual home of some 300+ adults and over 100 children and young people, made up of a good cross-section of the local community from young families to those of mature years, all worshipping together in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Expository sermons, designed to equip and inspire believers and introduce others to the Christian faith, are set amidst lively worship in which many people partake. In the week the church seeks to serve the local community of Wimborne in a variety of ways. Prayer and global mission are also at the top of the church's regular programme of outreach. House groups provide a focus for belonging to the Church and hold regular social events.
