Nothing specific for this age range at the moment, but are welcome to join in all activities. We have quite a number of Persians of this age, and there is a Persian Club which always meets after Sunday service.
Local outreach & community activities:
Flower arranging, church garden, parish magazine, Craft groups, Zumba classes, WI, Tae Kwondo, monthly coffee mornings, occasional concerts, suppers, quiz nights, Summer Fair, study groups. Spiritual support and a network of friendship for asylum seekers, whom we are delighted to have in our Sunday congregation. We are committed to caring for the environment, and are working towards A Roche Eco award. We welcome visitors during the year and for London Open House week, also visits from local schools. On Mondays a Community Pay Back team come to help us maintain the churchyard grounds.
Other activities & ministries:
Baptisms (all ages), Confirmations, Weddings, Blessing of Marriages, Wedding Anniversary celebrations, Funerals and Thanksgiving services. We raise money for different charities, and support our local food bank, work in partnership with local churches and Ward Councillors on community issues. Close links with our local schools, especially our own St Martins Primary School.

Bus stops on Station Road (for Church Road) include Bus 222 (from Uxbridge Underground station) U3, U5, 350. West Drayton is our main line station (to London Paddington), part of the Elizabeth Line). We're also accessible by bus from some Heathrow terminals. About Us

St Martin's Parish Church has been at the centre of West Drayton life for over 800 years (the church dates to at least 1180). It is a beautiful historic church, the oldest and most interesting building in our neighbourhood, next to a Tudor Gatehouse, surrounded by a tranquil church yard, and opposite a substantial public park. We are keen to encourage biodiversity in our church yard. Much can be learnt about local history from our graves - including Commonwealth War Graves - and inside memorials. Not far from the motorway, railway and Heathrow airport, and in a busy community, with lots of new housing, many people appreciate the peace we offer, and everybody, of any Faith or none, is most welcome to visit or get more involved in our worship and activities. Our worshipping community is a wonderful mix of people, all generations and many nationalities. About half of our congregation are Persian, most claiming religious asylum. Centred on the Eucharist (Mass) our Sunday service (10.15 am with music) is a blend of dignified traditional liturgy with informality, traditional hymns and more modern music. Our service booklets and Sunday Bible readings are available in Farsi and English. Children are always welcome. Mini Martins, an informal club for children and young people, based on a Bible story and craft, meets in the church hall at 10.15am on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. On Mondays we say Morning Prayer at 9.30am (takes about 20 mins) On Wednesdays there is a drop in Peace and Quiet Hour from 10am - 11am, you can sit, read, pray, think, or light a candle for someone. Our church school, St Martin's CE Primary School, often visits. We enjoy welcoming other local schools for all sorts of projects, including art, literacy, RE and Remembrance (we have a fine War Memorial). Special services are held throughout the year to mark Holy Days and festivals. We aim to share the Good News of Jesus and grow his Church; to serve God and our neighbours; and
