About Us
From 1908 to 2016 West Camel Methodists worshipped in our chapel on the A303 road. In 1908 the road was little more than a dusty track, but is now a main trunk route, and has become increasingly busy and dangerous. After two years of discussion and prayer, we approached the Rector and members of All Saints Church of England to ask about a sharing agreement. We already had a close working relationship with them, and this suggestion was warmly received. On 3rd July 2016 we held a final thanksgiving service in the chapel. Our services now take place at All Saints Church, which is in the centre of the village. In September, 2020, we became part of the Independent Methodist Connexion. We are a small, but friendly and welcoming evangelical church, a member of the Evangelical Alliance, and are happy with a variety of worship styles. Sunday services are at 6pm during British Summer Time and 4pm when the clocks change again, with occasional exceptions. We also have a monthly Bible Study.
