About Us
Akeman Street Baptist Church is a family church with people of all ages joining us in our main meetings on Sundays at 10.30 am and 6.00 pm to praise God, listen to the Bible being taught, pray and share fellowship together. We are a Bible-centred church understanding that God's voice is heard as the Bible is opened, explained and studied. Our church vision is: Aiming to glorify God by calling and equipping people to be fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. We are a Grace Baptist Church, linked to the Grace Baptist Association, Grace Baptist Mission and Affinity. We seek to proclaim Jesus to our community and believe that personal conversion is demonstrated by believer's baptism.
