About Us
The Baptist Church is a warm, friendly church that is made up of all kinds of people, who share a real experience of Jesus. We are a growing church that seeks to connect people with Jesus and build bridges into the community. We enjoy good worship and lively Bible teaching. Our stunning new building overlooks the River Tees. The auditorium can seat over 450. The Bridge Coffee House is situated at the front of the building and is open to the public Monday - Friday 9.30 am - 2.30 pm and Saturday 10.00 am - 2.30 pm. It is an ideal setting in which to relax and enjoy coffee or lunch. The Bridge Bookshop, situated next to the coffee house, sells the very best in Christian books, music, videos and gifts.
