About Us

In the Church of Christ, our worship follows the simple and pure pattern revealed in the New Testament. Each first day of the week, we engage in five acts of worship that reflect our obedience and love for God. We sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs from the heart without instruments (Eph. 5:19), and we pray together to express thanksgiving and seek God’s guidance (Acts 2:42). We listen to the preaching of the Word, which strengthens our faith and reminds us of our duty to live according to God’s truth (Acts 20:7). We also give as we have been prospered, cheerfully supporting the work of the church (1 Cor. 16:1-2). Lastly, we partake of the Lord’s Supper every Sunday to remember Christ’s sacrifice and proclaim His death until He comes again (1 Cor. 11:23-26). These five items of worship unite us in spirit and truth, ensuring that our worship remains faithful to God’s divine pattern. Find a little more detail below: Singing – We sing acapella (without instrumental accompaniment) as taught in the New Testament. Scriptural reference: Eph. 5:19, Col. 3:16. Purpose: To praise God and edify one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Praying – We offer our prayers to God through Jesus Christ. Scriptural reference: Acts 2:42, 1 Thes. 5:17, 1 Tim. 2:1-2. Purpose: To thank God, seek His guidance, and make supplications for the church and others. Preaching/Teaching of the Word – The gospel is preached, and the word of God is studied to strengthen believers and call sinners to repentance. Scriptural reference: Acts 20:7, 2 Tim. 4:2. Purpose: To learn God’s will and grow in faith and obedience. Giving (Collection) – We give as we have been prospered to support the work of the church. Scriptural reference: 1 Cor. 16:1-2, 2 Cor. 9:6-7. Purpose: To show gratitude and support evangelism, benevolence, and edification. The Lord’s Supper (Communion) – We observe this every first day of the week. Scriptural reference: Acts 20:7, 1 Cor. 11:23-26. Purp
