About Us
St Chad's and St Alkmund's churches seek to be a welcoming, inclusive community of love and service in Shrewsbury, open to God in the adventure of Christian faith.” (our mission statement). The Civic Church of Shrewsbury, an iconic, historic building situated in the heart of town, our ethos is “Open doors, Open hearts, Open minds". As a member of the Greater Churches Network and Inclusive Church our worship aims to be as inclusive and accessible as possible, whilst maintaining a tradition of excellent music and liturgy.
