About Us
Shirley Baptist Church is truly an all age family. Our main coming together is on a Sunday morning, with a smaller congregation in the evening at our DWELL service, once a month. There are meetings for all age groups during the week. We are now enjoying new church halls giving access from the new Parkgate scheme in Shirley, along with a Volunteer run Kairos Coffee Shop. We believe good relationships—with God and with each other—are the basis of a vibrant, generous and joyful Christian lifestyle which is reflected in our strapline ‘Passion for God, Compassion for People’. We are out-ward looking, having strong links with a ministry in India. Nearer home, along with other Birmingham Churches we have contact with the homeless. We are looking for growth both in depth and numbers.
