informal weekly evangelical service where we gather to worship God, hear from him, pray, and connect with each other. Sung worship is led by our worship band. Children's groups are also held during the service apart from an all-age service once a month. 2 services each month include Holy Communion Sun 15:00 Sunday @ 3
A monthly service, held on the 3rd Sunday of the month, at 3pm. An informal mix of traditional hymns played on the organ, interspersed with readings, prayers and a talk from the Bible. Followed by tea and cake sat around tables Sun 19:00 Elevate

- For children, Junior church includes: creche, 0-2s Bubbles, ages 3 to year R Flames, years 1-5 Children engage in various activities that are connected to the month's theme. Activities include exploring Bible stories, doing arts and crafts, playing various games, singing songs and praying For youth: Ignite - Runs on the 2nd and 4th Sunday mornings during the main service during term-time for years 6-8, looking at the Bible and what it means for our lives, with games and food. Elevate -Runs on the 1st Sunday evening of the month during term-time from 7pm. It is led by our young people – and everyone is welcome to come. The time is spent worshiping God, playing an online quiz, looking at the Bible and responding to God’s word Connect - runs on Tuesday evenings during term time, 7.30-9pm for years 9-13. - Cell groups are midweek groups where we help each other grow in Christian faith and become more like Jesus.

- We run Investigate Jesus and Alpha courses We run a weekly baby and toddler group - The Ark We run a monthly luncheon club for older people We have a monthly litter picking group For women there is a monthly walking group, and womens' only small groups For men there is a men's walking group, Friday pub lunches, beer and bible study sessions

Everyone is welcome at St James’ by the Park – just come as you are. We are a group of local people of all ages and a variety of backgrounds. Together, we want to go deeper with God, grow closer to each other and reach further with the love of Jesus. We have activities and groups for all ages through the week as well as a variety of services on Sundays. Whether you’re just beginning to explore who Jesus is or if you’re already a committed Christian - we would love to meet you and answer any questions you may have.
