About Us

St Peter's is a very diverse parish. The tradition of the church is open evangelical, influenced by renewal. Sunday services range from traditional Anglican liturgy at 9.30 am to experimental, family orientated worship at 11.15 am's Sunday Live! to open charismatic worship at 6.30 pm. We are the largest Anglican congregation in the Diocese of Bradford and take seriously our responsibilities at Deanery and Diocesan levels. There is a strong commitment to work with children and young people, and the development of lay ministry. We have a vision to grow the church. Living generously is important, evidenced in increased financial giving, volunteers for youth work and more people discovering their gifts and using them in the service of Christ.
