About Us
Emmaus is a friendly village church made up of a cross section of local people from Severn Beach and Pilning. Emmaus Church Centre was opened in 1993 and is on a modern housing estate. There is a Family Service for visitors and regulars, with children's groups each Sunday, followed by refreshments. Our aim is to follow Jesus and reach out to those around us. A person leads assemblies in two local primary schools. Twice a year we join with other local churches for joint services. We support a Foodbank based at Avonmouth, North Bristol. We sponsor two young people from Rwanda and support Open Doors UK, InHope crisis charity, a charity based in India, and Tearfund.
