Sun 10:30 Morning Worship
A contemporary service with the sung worship mostly led by a music group and singers, with the organ accompanying us occasionally. We begin our service gathered together and after 15-20 minutes the children and young people go to their age specific groups. Sometimes the service is an ‘All Together’ service, and is appropriate for all ages. On the third Sunday of a month we share bread and wine tog
Sun 19:00 3rd Sunday
Every 3rd Sunday of the month. An evening service of extended sung worship, prayer, ministry and conversation. This is a very informal service, with space and time to meet with God and let Him minister to you through the Holy Spirit. This service does not take place in July and August.
Wed 10:45 Mid-week Communion
In the St Peter's Room. An hour long, informal service where we sing (guitar led) and explore a bible passage together, pray and share holy communion. Tea and coffee is served afterwards.

Bubbles is for children aged 2-6 and meets Sunday during the morning service. They praise God, learn about Him and have fun together. Explore is for children aged 7-10 and meets Sunday mornings during the morning service. They learn about God in appropriate ways for their age with fun, exciting and challenging activities. We hope and pray they will come to know God for themselves and grow in faith. Occasionally they are involved in the morning service. Thirst is for young people aged 12 years upwards and meets Sunday mornings during the morning service. Through reading the bible and discussions we try to encourage the young people to go deeper in their faith by thinking about how they live their lives and what relevance their faith has in their lives. Thirst also meets for social events at varied times and places throughout the year. Youth Leaders will pass on more details when they are happening.

About Us

St Luke’s is a thriving, community-based church which has grown in numbers and in confidence over the past 10 years. Our informal style and family atmosphere have enabled many to feel at home who might have found a larger or more formal church difficult to engage with. The church’s outward focus has encompassed both service and proclamation, and that combination will continue to be held together as it continues to serve its parish and to grow. Very encouragingly, new people have become part of the community through the online worship during lockdown, and have begun to come to the church since it re-opened for worship.
