Christ Church Queensferry

Main Meetings:
Sun 10:30 Sunday gathering
We meet together to listen to God’s word through the reading and preaching of the Bible. We tend to work our way through books from both the Old and New Testament parts of the Bible. We also sing together in worship, pray, remember Christ’s death for us in the Lord's Supper and spend time in each other’s company!
Denomination:
Baptist
Hymns & songs:
We sing a mix of older hymns, contemporary songs and Psalms (the Bible's very own song book).
Under 18s:
Have you got children that you would like to bring to church? We run a specific programme just for kids! Our aim is to make sure every child can learn about Jesus in a safe, fun and welcoming environment. Our children's workers are PVG checked through Disclosure Scotland, are members of our church and are appointed only by approval of our elders (church leaders). You can find our Child Protection Policy by clicking on the Resources tab at the top of this page. We use the Mustard Seeds Sunday School material produced by TnT Ministries. See our Plan Your Visit page to see which ages we cater for, and groups your child/children will be in. If you have any questions about the programmes or want to know more about bringing your kids along on a Sunday then please fill in our Contact Us form on our website.

About Us

Are you new to the church or Queenferry? If so, you are very welcome! We are made up of ordinary people from Queensferry. Our lives have been changed forever by Jesus Christ. His perfect life, His death in our place on the cross, and His resurrection from death mean that we no longer live in slavery to guilt, shame, or fear. Instead, we have a new life of freedom, forgiveness, purpose and hope. We also love Queensferry. It’s our home and we want to be a church that is for the people of Queensferry. So, whether you’re born and bred in the Ferry, from the far corners of the globe or somewhere in between, we would love you to join us! For us, the church is family - warts and all - not some religious building we go to every so often or a get together for religious folk.
