About Us
The Old Parish Church is the oldest in a parish grouping of three and is a member of the Portobello Council of Churches, A.C.T.S. To celebrate the church's bicentenary in 2009, money was raised to rebuild a dilapidated nursery in Dswerebease, Ghana, and provide additional resources. This link is being continued though pen pals with the church's youth and older pupils in the local primary school. An Elder corresponds with our missionary partners in Thailand and the Board raises money to support the family financially through Interserve. We extend the hand of friendship to the visitors worshipping in our beautiful Georgian church, customers coming to our volunteer-run café and new members joining the groups and activities.
