About Us

The Slade was first founded in 1880 and nowadays is a lively and active group of ordinary folk from all kinds of backgrounds and nationalities with one thing in common; our lives have been changed by the Christian Gospel. We meet Sunday morning and evening. During the morning service the children and young people are cared for in their own Sunday School groups. During the week we meet in local homes where we study the Bible together in smaller groups. There are midweek activities for younger people. As local people we are very much part of the local community and it is our desire to make the Christian message available, known and understood to all our neighbours.
