About Us
Christ Church is a member of the FIEC (Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches www.fiec.org.uk) and offers a warm welcome to all. We are a friendly fellowship of mixed ages and backgrounds. The morning service is a family service and includes praise and worship and bible readings. The service is led by one of the church members and a visiting speaker, who brings a gospel message. Just before the main sermon, the junior church leaves for a time of separate teaching, tailored to their age groups. We regularly meet for refreshments after the morning service and on special occasions, hot meals are shared. Why not come and join us? Christ Church McDermott also holds historical significance as it is the site of the first religious broadcast to a UK Congregation. The church are associated with a local youth club which has been running for over 60 years. During term time, the club meets Monday to Thursday evenings through out the week.
