Sunday Breakfast is a place where everyone has a place at the table. We begin with lots of food and coffee and then the children head off with a parent/carer who brought them to engage with a variety of activities designed to help them explore the Bible theme for the morning. The adults have time at the tables to continue conversations that come out of the theme, with a youth table to gather aroun - Denomination:

The format of Sunday Breakfast is foster community, and hopefully even more accessible to those new or curious about faith in God. Mid-week on Wednesdays, we gather our preschool children and their parents/carers in our venue at Templars Square Shopping Centre, where we make space for children can play and alongside their parents/carers on the first week of the month. - 18-30s:
- Students and young adults have the opportunity to get involved in all of our Sundays gatherings and Life Groups. There are mid-week opportunities to make a real difference in our community leaving a legacy in the lives on others. Ryan is our wonderful student outreach pastor and is engaged in a variety of things, such as outreach on student campuses, meeting up with and supporting individual students. Nationally, Vineyard Churches host Cause to Live For, which is the annual Vineyard national gathering for young adults held over a weekend in November, and a great date to put in the calendar.
- Local outreach & community activities:
- We organise a variety of social action and community activities, designed to share Gods love with local people, such as parties, Easter egg hunts, opportunities for DIY and gardening projects and more. Street worship happens as part of a rhythm of our Fridays - see website for more information (https://hopeoxford.org/join-in/worship-and-prayer/) Since autumn 2020 we have been running Small Steps, a clothes and equipment resource for children aged 0-10 years old, where families can be referred (including by self referral) and receive good quality, free items. This includes Baby Baskets, a moses basket filled with items for new born babies. Small Steps also runs as a pre-loved children's shop in our venue at Templars Square Shopping Centre. See our website for further details. As Hope Vineyard grows we would love to continue to develop innovative and creative ways to love those outside of church and share Jesus with them. We are passionate about taking Jesus to where people are so we are continuing to dream of ways we can do this. See our website for the latest information.
- Other activities & ministries:
- We have a number of life groups which are smaller communities, meeting mid week to share life together and encourage and inspire each other to follow Jesus. We also gather online to pray at 7am together via zoom on Tuesday mornings, and in person to pray on the first Sunday of the month in the evening at 7:30pm. See our What's On page of the website for details. (https://hopeoxford.org/join-in/whats-on/)

About Us
We are a Vineyard church plant for Oxford and the surrounding area, which began in a living room in the Autumn of 2017 when Josh and Katie were commissioned from Trent Vineyard, Nottingham. We are inspired by Jesus to care about the things he cared about, justice for the outsider, living generously, living unhurried yet productive lives and communicating His hope in any way we can. As a church we create opportunities for people to encounter Jesus, be transformed and transform the world around them. We are passionate about engaging with anyone and everyone skeptical of religion but interested in a God who loves them. We do this as creatively as possible through regular gatherings/services where there is relevant teaching from the Bible and worship, mid week life groups, regular children's events and gatherings, parties and community focused initiatives, meeting felt needs in the local area. Newcomers are especially welcome, both those who'd say they know Jesus and those who are curious.
