St Ebbe's Church

Main Meetings:
Sun 10:00 Morning Service
From the very young to the not-quite-so-young and those anywhere in between, the 10am includes the broadest cross-section of our church family. A crèche and childrens clubs are run.
Sun 16:00 City Service
The City Service is less formal and more accessible to those who may not be used to church. The service particularly aims to reach people from the parish and city centre but all are welcome. There is a creche at the back of the church and children’s clubs for 0-11 year-olds that run during the service. Refreshments are served before the service and everyone is invited to stay for a family meal
Sun 18:30 Evening Service
The 6:30pm congregation attracts those in their 20s and 30s, youth, students, internationals and the not-so-young. Everyone is welcome and we would love you to stay on for tea and coffee afterwards. There are fortnightly meals during term time to help build community. We regularly have visitors and guests, including those who are exploring Christianity.

About Us

St Ebbe's is a large and lively Bible-teaching church in the centre of Oxford. We welcome those who want to investigate Christianity and those who want to know how to keep on following Jesus. At St Ebbe's we have: 1 aim - to see God honoured; 2 essentials - the Bible and prayer; 3 tasks - reach out to non-believers, build up Christians, send out Christian workers. A broad range of people makes up the church at St Ebbe's: students, families with young and grown-up children, pensioners, locals, young professionals, internationals and many others! For information on the different groups and activities at St Ebbe's check out our website at www.stebbes.org, or come along on Sunday.
