About Us
Connecting with Jesus, with each other and with our communities. Formed in the 1990s OBC is built upon evangelical faith, characterised by lively worship, biblical teaching and meaningful fellowship. We value young people, offering Sunday and weeknight activities. We emphasise mission, making the message and lifestyle of Jesus relevant to those who do not know Him. Our priorities include: lively worship; believer's baptism; good Bible teaching; mission-centred in our local area, the UK and abroad; open, honest relationships; caring for one another; prayer; encouraging committed membership; helping each other to grow as disciples of Jesus; being prepared to take risks; openness to the use of gifts of the Holy Spirit; being a welcoming church; providing strong and fun loving teaching for the children and young people; supporting good inter-church fellowship, reaching out to the local community with the love of Jesus.
