About Us

Melton Vineyard was planted in 2006 and our aim is to connect people to Jesus, change the culture and be channels of the Holy Spirit. Our style is relaxed and informal and there is plenty of fun and laughter, even as we take God and His word seriously. We use mostly contemporary worship songs and informal prayer, though there can be the occasional traditional hymn or set prayer as well. We want to be a church where imperfect people (all of us) feel perfectly welcome, where worship and prayer are at the heart of everything, and where people can encounter God's love and power, without hype and at their own pace. During the week you can find us at the Hope Centre in Nottingham Street and our Sunday services are held at 10.30am at John Ferneley College, Scalford Road, LE13 1LH
