About Us
We are a growing church which attracts all ages, especially young families. There are a range of small groups, prayer arrangements and weekday activities. See our website to find out more. In the autumn of 2025 we were thrilled to announce the launch of The Athenaeum Hub - an exciting new chapter in our mission to serve and support the community. The Hub will make use of all our church buildings throughout the week, bringing together existing groups and introducing some fantastic new projects. It’s a space for everyone - place to connect, belong, and find practical support. At the heart of The Athenaeum Hub is our desire to live out the church’s calling to be active in the community; meeting real needs, building relationships, and sharing hope in everyday ways. We have recruited a Community Outreach Worker, who will be coordinating the Hub on behalf of the church and ensuring everything we do stays true to our mission - "making the outward facing work of the church relevant to the people of Melbourne and surrounding communities." Anyone wishing to get married (same-sex or opposite sex) should approach our minister to discuss. As well as our Sunday morning worship, with Junior and Youth church, the Hub is already home to: ✨️ Tiddlywinks - our established toddler group ✨️ 9 Months - a wonderful group for new parents and their babies ✨️ CraftEasy - for crafters, knitters, stitchers, makers and chatters ✨ Melbourne Youth Club – in partnership with Blend ✨️Tea Service - worship with afternoon tea ✨️Splash! - midweek play and praise for pre-schoolers And that’s just the beginning… there’s so much more to come! ✨ Little Wesley’s Play Area – reopening for families after being closed since the pandemic ✨️ Ongoing collaboration with local groups such as Community Care 👉 Keep an eye out for updates, launch dates, and ways to get involved
