A service of worship with readings, singing and preaching. On the 1st Sunday of each month, we conclude our worship with sharing Holy Communion. Stay after worship for refreshments and chat. Most Sundays, you can join us after worship for Bible Study.

Come and join us to start a fellowship group! We have many rooms in which people can meet, chat, eat and grow together in faith and friendship.

Local outreach & community activities:

Bible Discussion Group meets in the church most Sundays following morning worship and coffee (approx. 12pm) The Friendship Circle, a time for chat, quizzes, occasional speakers and refreshments, meets in the Bollington Room (Townley Street entrance) on the 2nd Wednesday in the month at 2.00 pm. The Wednesday Group meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 2.30 pm in the Bollington Room (Townley Street entrance). It offers a short time of worship including well known hymns and a reflection followed by a time for fellowship and friendship, tea and cakes!

Other activities & ministries:

Sea Scouts meet in Townley Hall (Townley Street entrance) on Tuesday evenings with Beavers, Cubs and Scouts meeting from 6.00 p.m. Every Wednesday night, 7.00 pm till 9.00pm, in the church (Park Green entrance), we welcome Macclesfield Wednesday DISCO, a fantastic disco for people with SEN. ALL ABILITIES welcome. Great music & entertainment plus refreshments. A Safe and Disability friendly accessible venue. Taize Service held on the last Sunday of each month from 5.30 pm (Sept-June). On Saturday nights, a team of Street Angels provide care and support to revellers in the city centre.

Leaders:

The Elders form the committee of Trustees for the church and provide leadership to the congregation. Sunday services are led by visiting preachers mainly drawn from the Mersey Synod of the URC.
