About Us
We are a local church for Kingswood, Bristol and the surrounding community. A church family made up of all sorts of people from different backgrounds who simply love Jesus. Our desire is for people to know Jesus, to know that they are loved by Him and to be part of a family who do life together, with Jesus at the centre. Our vision is to be: rooted in Christ, growing in love, and our mission straplines are: celebrating family, engaging community, and making Jesus known. We are a free independent evangelical church with links in the Woodlands Group of Churches. We also subscribe to and are members of the Evangelical Alliance (member 170487), and align ourselves with their basis of faith. Our Sunday gatherings start at 10:30am in our upstairs office building - come early for a cuppa and chat. We start with everyone one in together for worship before under 18s go to their own groups. The first Sunday of the month we hold a all-in family style service - a more relax conversational service with a theme discussion about how God is relevant in our everyday lives. Whether you are familiar with church or not, young or old, part of a family or on your own – you are very welcome at Bourne Christian Centre. If you are visiting Bristol for the first time or you live in the local Kingswood community, come and be part of a family that love Jesus.
