About Us

Arise Church was formed (as Calvary Church) in 1985, operating initially from a local school premises. A new building was erected in 1990 and the church enjoys seeing nearly 300 regularly in attendance on Sundays. The Sunday morning service is principally a worship and communion service with the evening being more geared to guests, etc. Midweek we meet in connect groups where we aim to relate the Bible to ourselves, encourage and support each other to share our faith in Jesus with others. We aim to create a culture of Love, Passion and Praise.
