Whatever your position, background or circumstances, we want you to feel loved, valued and welcomed among us. Oakes Baptist Church is a thriving community church, with people of all ages from all walks of life, including many young people studying at the local university and colleges. Services have a relatively informal worship style, which combines strong Bible based preaching with the best of modern Christian music and traditional hymns. Fellowship evenings provide a relaxed atmosphere to get to know others. We recognise we are part of a wider world, supporting work in Lebanon, North Africa and Afghanistan.
