About Us
We are a friendly, Bible-based Baptist Church. We believe God's love, shown in Jesus, is for everyone. As a family of all ages, you are welcome to join us. We want to worship God, enjoy being with each other as members of his family, and serve him in Horsforth and beyond. When we meet together, we believe God wants to speak to us, and through us and we encourage people to explore the gifts of the Holy Spirit in their lives, which are to be used for the encouragement and building up of God's people in the context of the local church. We gather to worship on Sundays at 10.30am. Our service includes communion on the 4th Sunday of each month, using gluten free bread and a non-alcoholic communion wine. When we meet, we worship God through songs and through prayer, and we learn more about God and His will for our lives through teaching. If you would like to know more about some of the songs that we use then you can listen to some of them on Spotify. There is a Creche for babies/toddlers and Sunday school for children on Sunday mornings, which we call L.I.G.H.T. Why not join us this Sunday. We would love to meet you!
