About Us

Our church is known as an evangelical church which can be confusing to many people. The expression 'evangelical' comes from a Greek word meaning ‘the good news.’ So Horsell Evangelical church literally means, the church in Horsell sharing ‘good news’. The ‘good news’ that we proclaim as a church is that we have sinned and deserve God’s wrath, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God – Romans 3:23”, however, God Himself is merciful and came into the world in the person of Jesus Christ – to die upon a cross to wash away our sin, “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us – Romans 5:8.” Re: Covid-19 We will not ask for vaccination status nor require worshippers to vaccinate. We will not discriminate on the grounds of vaccination status or any other grounds for those desiring to attend the church to worship God.
