About Us

One Church Many Communities Cornerstone City Church has a vision to see Jesus centred transformation of lives to regenerate Medway & beyond and we meet across six 'Communities' which are local congregations in Chatham, Gillingham, Rochester, Medway Valley, Hoo and Rainham on Sunday mornings with one all-together meeting about every 6th weeks. We value being a church that is: 1. Word Based, with the Bible as our daily food, guide, and authority, in all we do and believe 2. Spirit Empowered, and led by the Spirit 3. Grace Filled, transformed, taught, and together by God's abundant grace 4. Prayerful, calling and depending on God individually and together 5. Deep in Community, living as church family 6. Kingdom vision for the city, seeking the Kingdom of God in all things, for the good of all 7. Everyone Active, every member gifted by God, serving one another, reaching out together 8. All of life disciples, obedient, holy and maturing as we follow Jesus, practicing RHYTHMS 9. Honouring healthy leadership, receiving Ephesians 4 ministries (apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors & teachers) & following servant-hearted leadership (elders, team leaders, ministry leaders) 10. Crossing boundaries, intentionally intercultural (reflecting our context), intergenerational (across the ages), interclass ('rich', 'poor', 'middle class', working class') all together for Jesus We're always keen to welcome guests and visitors and we extend a warm invitation to you personally, come and visit us!
