About Us

We are a small but very committed Gospel church. We meet in the Town Hall in the centre of Hebden Bridge, where we proclaim the truth of Jesus and his death and resurrection. We are as active in the community as we can be. The Church is involved in challenging local outreach but also has an ongoing interest in Christian work in this and other countries. Services vary in style and content but give priority to the proclamation and exposition of God's Word. Midweek Prayer Meetings and discipleship groups are often held in homes. This is a church where every individual counts! The Beacon Church is the working name of registered charity: Beacon Church Hebden Bridge (registered charity number 1193732). This organisation is operating as a ‘Charitable Incorporated Organisation’ or CIO.
