About Us

Our 17th century chapel is situated in the heart of the South Lakes, on the popular tourist route from Hawkshead to Tarn Hows. Our vision is to be an oasis - a place where all are welcomed and refreshed in the name of Jesus. The chapel is always open, and visitors regularly come inside where there is the opportunity to reflect. Passers by are invited to visit the grounds which include spaces for quiet reflection, an outdoor baptistry and graveyard. Visitors join us most Sundays for our informal, varied and participatory worship, children are welcomed and included. We offer the Upper Room (self-catering accommodation for 2) on a donations basis.
