About Us

St Peter's is an open church, welcoming to all our services visitors, regular members and those looking for a place to worship. We are a shared church, providing full membership for Christians from both Anglican (Church of England) tradition and those from a Free Church background (eg. United Reformed, Baptist, Methodist or Pentecostal churches). We are ordinary people worshipping an extraordinary God and so our worship is both relaxed and reverent. We use and enjoy both traditional and modern songs. We accept Jesus Christ as Lord, and the Bible as the Word of God, encouraging every member to understand and apply it to daily living as the essential guide to a fulfilled life.
