About Us
We are a mixed group of people that are all at varying stages of exploring a journey of faith, who gather together out of a common desire to worship God and live out our Christian Faith in a way that is relevant to the world we are all a part of. As a result of doing that journey together we recognise that change is inevitable and experience tells us that by allowing Jesus to be at the heart of those changes we gain a fresh purpose and enthusiasm for life which is summed up by our mission statement: transforming people who don't know Jesus into whole hearted disciples who do. We meet in a village setting and are blessed to be able to bless our local community with the facilities we have but we are more than just a village church in outlook and impact, being involved in initiatives, ministries & missions in the local area, nationally and internationally. Our main meeting of the week starts each Sunday at 10am lasting for an hour and a half or so. The service style is informal and participative with a mix of people leading. We use a combination of contemporary music played by the band and some great hymns that we all know and love. Dress code is more jeans and sweatshirts than best suits and we hope that you will find a friendly welcome and be happy to stay for a decent cup of coffee afterwards. There are age related activities for children each Sunday and a number of other activities going on throughout the week.
