About Us

Bill Quay Community Church (previously Heworth Christian Fellowship) believes that Jesus is the divine Son of God who was sent to die for our sins. We believe in the Trinity, the Godhead of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that the Holy Spirit will guide and empower Christians to live closer to God's will. We believe in the Bible as God's word, and the final authority in all Christian teaching and practice. We are affiliated to the Evangelical Alliance. We feel that the fellowship is currently called to serve the community in the east of Gateshead through evangelism, and community projects across a range of backgrounds and age groups.
