Children stay with their parent or grown-up at the start of our Sunday Service for the welcome, some songs and a children's talk. We really value worshipping God all together as a church family. After the first part of our Service, primary aged children join ‘Explorers’ where they enjoy Bible teaching, fun games and crafts. At Redeemer Church we're really excited that children can understand the Bible and grasp the Good News about Jesus from a very young age, and it's a real joy and privilege for us to support families in teaching their children about Christ. Explorers runs during term-time. Pre-school aged children and babies are welcome to stay in for the rest of the service, but there is a room available which parents are free to use at any point and remain with your child. You will still be able to hear the service through a speaker. Around once a month, children stay in with their families for the whole service. This is a special time, worshipping the Lord all together

About Us

We're a group of ordinary Christians who gather each Sunday to worship God and hear his word (the Bible). We're a welcoming and friendly church who take the Bible seriously and want to live out what we believe. Our church is made up of people of different ages and backgrounds, and we love to see new people. We were 'planted' from Emmanuel Church Canterbury in September 2020 and are part of FIEC and Kent Gospel Partnership. Our Sunday services begin with a warm welcome, and include music and singing, a children's talk, prayer, and God's word read and preached. Our worship is a mix of the best of older hymns and contemporary songs. Our services are open to all, so whether you're already a Christian or just want to find out more, you are very welcome to join us. We're a new church, and we're a friendly church, but you won't be put on the spot or asked to do anything you're uncomfortable with; and you don't have to dress in a particular way. If you'd like to find out more about us please visit our website, get in touch, or join us on Sunday!
