Under 18s:

Our vision is to help children take the next steps on their journey with Jesus and become all that God created them to be. At Isca, we want all ages to learn, worship and grow together. We seek to embed our children in a welcoming, loving and accepting wider family of church. Our Sunday gatherings are for all ages. We enjoy a relaxed, fun atmosphere, connecting with each other and connecting with God.

18-30s:

We believe strongly in all age integration so our 18-30s are part of our Isca communities that are formed around mission and communities.

Local outreach & community activities:

Our greatest collective focus of the church is in the North East of the city across Beacon Heath, Pinhoe and Monkerton. We significantly contribute to the life of the Beacon Centre having set up a new charity to run it in 2015 (see www.thebeaconcentre.org) Across this area we run a toddler group, children’s and youth clubs, older people’s groups, a community cafe and seasonal events. We don’t “do projects” which means all of these activities relate to our Isca Community Groups where there is always a friendly, praying, loving community behind them. We support and equip all sorts of activities that our church members contribute to in their local areas across the city.

Other activities & ministries:

We are a core stakeholder in the ONE for Exeter partnership movement in the city and support and participate a range of city wide ministries, including street pastors and Exeter Foodbank, Exeter YMCA. We love connecting with national and international partners and currently support friends in India and Romania.

Leaders:

Our senior leadership team is led by Rich Cummings. We encourage leadership across the church and have a great team of community and ministry leaders. We employ a team of seven full and part-time staff.
