About Us
The Tabernacle is a long-established Baptist congregation (founded 1650) in central London. The well-known Victorian preacher C.H. Spurgeon pastored the church for 38 years. We continue to hold to the historic Christian faith and traditional reverent worship. We are a multi-ethnic fellowship, with members and adherents rolls exceeding 800, not counting under sixteens and numerous short-term visitors. Free live video webcasts: Sunday 11am, 6.30pm, Wednesday Bible Study 7.30pm. Visitors are warmly welcomed.
