Sun 10:30 Sunday worship
A time of sung worship (both traditional hymns and contemporary songs) , prayers, and a bible reading, which follows a series and which is the basis of the message. Communion is taken during the service on the first, third and fifth Sundays of the month. Children have their own teaching time and services last an hour or a little longer. Tea and coffee are served after the service.

Urban Saints for school years 3 to 7 meet on Friday evenings from 7.00 until 8.15 , split into two age groups.

Pop-up Brunch is held on the 1st Saturday of each month from 9.30 to 12.30 . This is a popular meeting place for members and villagers to gather socially and enjoy good food. Luncheon Club. 2nd Wednesday of the month 12.45 pm for one o'clock. Pensioners welcome. Dormansland Community Hub. Friday 10.00 am to 2 pm. A calm and warm environment for you to come, sit, relax, work, read and make new friends. Light refreshments available. Run in conjunction with other locations in Dormansland which are open on other days. In winter we are open 9.00 am until 3 pm. We take a leading part in the annual carnival with the Urban Saints providing a float for the procession and the church providing an art project, which is the centre piece of the static area.

The church is located at the north end of the High Street and is set back between two houses. There is a small car park and roadside parking is available close by.

About Us

Although a small congregation. the church is lively, bible based and very friendly. Our motto is "Celebrating, living and sharing the good news of Jesus". Dormansland Baptist Church has been witnessing in the village since the end of the 18th century, the church building being opened in 1817.
