About Us

St Timothy's seeks to be an outward looking church, well rooted in the community, running several locally based ministries. We recently completed a building project, making the building disabled access friendly, with an office, kitchen and crèche room in the church. It has the advantages of a smaller local church (you get to know people!) as well as some of the disadvantages (you may get invited into a ministry!). Basically evangelical or charismatic in its theology, historically it comes from a broad Anglican tradition attracting people who appreciate an open, less prescriptive approach. Our aim is to encourage a radical, personal encounter with God, equipping us for mission in a fast changing world in great need of the Gospel.
