About Us

The Cathedral Church of Saints Peter & Paul - Clifton, Bristol is one of the first Roman Catholic Cathedrals to be designed following the Second Council of the Vatican, opened in 1973. The Cathedral seats 1,000 people seated within 15 metres of the altar around which the Bishop, clergy and people gather to listen to the Word of God and celebrate the Eucharist each week. The Cathedral has an international reputation for the excellence of its liturgy and music, which draws upon traditional and modern styles as befits the liturgy and worship in the church. The building is listed Grade II, a place of prayer and welcome.
