About Us

Built in 1872, the Methodist Church building has been adapted through the years to meet the changing requirements of worship and to provide a place where work among the young people and members of the local community can be undertaken free of some of the restraints imposed by older style buildings. Singing in worship is often led by a small music group (mainly guitars and wind instruments). Holy Communion is celebrated monthly. Refreshments are served after morning services, and there is an opportunity to buy from the Traidcraft stall and from the charity table. Caring and sharing through Jesus, is our mission statement; we are a small but very friendly church where all are welcome.
