About Us

St. James is a lively, Bible-based church. Our aim is to introduce people in the parish to Jesus Christ and then encourage them to grow in their faith. Organisations and activities cover all ages, from babies to senior citizens. Our morning service begins with everyone in the church, before youngsters move across to the Sunday Club in our adjacent parish centre. After the service there is an opportunity to chat to people over refreshments. On the first Sunday of the month we usually hold an All Age Service and a bring & share lunch. Evening services are a little less formal and also include refreshments. We have a number of homegroups meeting regularly and also a monthly central prayer & praise meeting in our parish centre. We run Alpha courses each year.
