About Us
A Church at the heart of Community. 'Friendly, inclusive and welcoming' High Cross Church brings together people of all ages and from all walks of life, most of whom live around the Camberley area. We have all made a wonderful discovery that Jesus Christ is a real friend, someone who gives peace and strength for daily living and hope for the life to come. It is our aim to spread this discovery to the people of this neighbourhood by what we do and who we are. High Cross Church was formed in 1990 when our premises were opened by the coming together of the Methodist and United Reformed Churches in Camberley. As such we are part of the local URC Synod and Methodist Circuit and we play a full part in Churches Together in Camberley. We offer you a warm welcome and invite you to join us in a wide range of church services. There are active groups for children and young people and a variety of mid-week activities. We hope that High Cross Church can play its part in helping you to enjoy discovering the life which God offers us through Jesus Christ and that you will find your involvement to be both exciting and rewarding. We are a Sight Loss Friendly Church, a member of the Single Friendly Church Network, a Silver Eco-Congragation, and are Demientia Friends. The Abundant Life Christian Fellowship, also meets at the same time, 1030 every Sunday. This is a Cantonese language service, led by a Cantonese Pastor.
