About Us

Sutton Elms Baptist Church is a growing church just 6 miles south of Leicester. Its origins go back to the 1600s, but now around 100 people, of all ages, meet together for worship in a much more modern style. There is a strong commitment to evangelism as a lifestyle, and to serving the local community. The main aims include enabling people to know God's purpose for their lives; and equipping them to follow Jesus in their daily lives. These are achieved through a growing emphasis on prayer, a structured programme of evangelism, community involvement, Small Group fellowship, and practical preaching of God's Word.
