About Us

City Church is a church for everyone in Bristol. We meet for around 90 minutes at 10am in Bradley Stoke, 10:30am in Cotham and 11am in Fishponds. We also livestream our 10:30am service if you are unable to attend in person. Our vision is HELPING BRISTOL BELIEVE We are Christians; our faith is rooted in the teaching of the Bible, desiring to follow Jesus and help others find and follow him too. You will discover within us a strong emphasis on worship, Bible teaching, community life, telling people about Jesus, mission and family life in all its shapes and sizes. City Church is a Commission Church, part of the Newfrontiers family of churches - an international family of churches committed to planting churches all over the world. Lots of different types of people make up City Church; singles, families, sports fans, artists, musicians, craftsmen, homemakers, kids, students, academics, professionals, teens with people from many different nationalities. On Sundays, we start by singing to help us to focus on God. People will often pray out loud, read from the bible or share things that they feel God wants to encourage the people with. During the service, there are groups for children from 1-16 and space for younger babies during the talk. Our preaches are around 30 minutes long, normally given by one of the leaders. We teach truth from the bible and apply it to how we live our lives now.
