18-30s:

Our young adults are actively involved in the wider life of the church, including Sunday services, serving teams, worship, house churches, and discipleship groups. We also run a monthly young adults gathering called Kingdom People, aimed at those aged 18–25. It is a relaxed and authentic space to connect, share food, build friendships, ask questions, and explore faith together in a safe and supportive environment. We also organise occasional outings and social activities, helping young adults find community and grow together in their walk with God.

Local outreach & community activities:

We are passionate about serving our local community and sharing the love of Jesus in practical ways. Much of our outreach is focused on Blackburn and the Shadsworth estate, where we seek to build meaningful relationships and offer ongoing support. Our community activities include Messy Church, which provides a fun and welcoming space for families through games, crafts, activities, food, and Bible-based teaching. We also run Beacon Academy, a football-based outreach for children and young people, helping them grow in confidence, character, and faith. Alongside this, we support people through practical initiatives such as Beacon Basket, our food and community support project, and we regularly look for opportunities to bless local families, schools, and individuals.

Other activities & ministries:

Alongside our Sunday services and community outreach, we have a range of activities and ministries that help people grow in faith, build relationships, and find support in different seasons of life. These include Deeper, our Bible study and discipleship gathering; weekly House Churches for fellowship, prayer, and support; a midweek youth group; and Golden Olives, our monthly gathering for older members. We also have men’s and women’s groups that meet quarterly for connection, encouragement, and spiritual growth.
