About Us

Here at St Peter's we aim to give glory to God through Jesus Christ and in the power of the Holy Spirit by: the offering of our best in worship; encouraging and providing opportunity for all, both young and old, to grow in their experience, knowledge and love of God; witnessing to God's love in the world through service to the parish and community. In addition to the regular services, principal Feast Days and Holy Days are observed. St Peter's Church dates back to the early 13th century and, being open throughout the day, provides a place of quiet and prayer in the heart of the town.
